The Principle:
Samadara Smith is the award winning builder and designer responsible for several stunning homes throughout the Washington, DC and Maryland communities.
“Sam” graduated with a Bachelor of Arts of Imaging and Digital Arts from UMBC. Sam created and studied 3D visualization, animation and 3D worlds to create these stunning visions in her career. She also took her love of design and knowledge from years at an architectural firm to create these homes that are truly design based and works of art.

Sam started a family and pursued a home building career which enabled her to stay at home with the kids. Sam transitioned from the 3D world into building and designing homes that were not builder boxes. She channeled her creative energy to change the world of custom homes. Sam hunts the architectural salvage stores to bring new life to her projects. Her design and creative skills bring old world style to blend with modern style for a house that stuns and is very livable. Her goal is to create a house with personality and style and function. Lessen the load on landfills and Go Green. Look for her reclaimed stained glass windows on a staircase or an old church door that now leads to a pantry. Tour her portfolio and discover these “special” design elements and watch for her next project!
Sam, is also a Licensed Realestate agent licensed in DC and MD
